Sweet & Sour Pork
6 oz. Fresh Market Pork Tenderloin (1/2 inch dice)
¼ Cup All Purpose Flour
1 Tablespoon Instant Gourmet® Original seasoning
2 oz. Peanut Oil
½ Cup Pineapple (1/4 inch dice)
¼ Cup Raisins
¼ Cup Yellow Onion (diced)
¼ Cup Dried Apricots (1/2 inch dice)
¼ Cup Duck Sauce
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Green Onions as a garnish
White Rice – as side item
Season the pork pieces with the Instant Gourmet. Place the seasoned pork pieces in the flour and coat evenly. Shake off excess flour.
Heat a large skillet over med-high heat for one minute. Add the peanut oil, and swirl to coat. Add the pork and sauté until golden.
Add the pineapple, raisins, onions, and apricots and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the lemon juice and duck sauce. Let simmer on low for about 5 minutes. Garnish with sliced green onion. Pairs great with white rice. |
